Damian Rocked it!!!!He was so accommodating from the very first phone call we had. He also was willing to make changes at the last minute when some of our guests requested gluten free and vegetarian options.Nothing rattled him. Damian is a gem. Hi there! My name's Damien Eftekhar! I'm a professional chef, 10 year test kitchen and recipe specialist, culinary consultant, husband and father of 5! So getting a good meal on the table is kinda my thing. It's quite a gift to have kids that love good food. Their worlds have opened up to new and interesting things. I truly believe they are better people for the food experiences they've had. Because I don't just feed them good food but I give the story behind the food as well. Since my two oldest are teenagers now, they may roll their eyes and think "Oh here goes dad again with another story!" but they'll be grateful one day when they too have a sense of the finer things in life. After 15 years of toil in the restaurant business; from flipping burgers at The Cubby Bear, to making bouillabaisse at Le Titi de Paris, I married a beautiful blond mom of two cute kids. With my new instant family, I desperately wanted weekends off to spend time with them. As if an answer to prayer, I was hired on as Senior Recipe Application Specialist at The Pampered Chef in Addison, Illinois. After 7 years of recipe development, training and looking silly on recipe videos, I moved on to manage culinary for Kraft Heinz Foods where I learned the true importance of listening to the consumer and responding. Today, I am the Executive Chef of Research & Development at Harvest Food Group and Path of Life brands, where we focus on health, clean label and responsibly sourced ingredients.
There remains still a passion in me to serve people great food though; on a more personal level. Food made from the heart.
